Get Out from the Darkroom

When the first camera came out, people could start to capture the special moments in their life.  What is the history of the camera?  I found the answer to this question in a wikipedia article.

At that time, a dark room played a big role on image printing.  It is a room that can be made completely dark to allow the processing of light sensitive photographic materials, including photographic film and photographic paper.  It took very long time and a very complex process to get just a single photo.

However, everything changed in 1975.  Steven Sasson as an engineer at Eastman Kodak invented and built the first electronic camera using a charge-coupled device image sensor.  "Unlike the earlier film cameras, digital cameras can display images on a screen immediately after being recorded, and store and delete images from memory."  That means people didn't need to do all the complex work with films anymore!  This is definitely a great news for the unprofessional people like us since it allows to take photos easier and print them out a lot quicker.
