Answers.

1. I live in Kitakyuushu

2. People protect themselves by sitting under the desk.

3. Usually in my city earthquake lasts about 10 to 30 seconds.

4. Yes but it depends on how huge effect that earthquake has on the area. In Kitakkyushu there wasn’t any huge effects from earthquake.
5. Only tall building are protected from earthquakes.

ANALYSIS
I learned from this interview with Riichiro that, only tall buildings are protected from earthquake.I didn't know that, I thought all of the building are protected but I realized I was wrong.
